From its respected traditional academic program to its acclaimed fine arts, forensics, sports, extra-curriculars, and community service offerings, the Upper School provides students with the opportunity to develop a love of and respect for learning, to prepare for acceptance at the finest colleges, and to identify and fulfill individual potential in a supportive environment. Upper School students are seen as individuals and are encouraged to sample a variety of interests or develop a deep passion for one particular area of study.
The academically ambitious and able student will find the classes taught by skilled, compassionate, and dedicated faculty to be challenging and stimulating. While the School maintains the highest intellectual standards, it recognizes and attends to the social and physical needs of the student body with an extensive choice of clubs, sports, performances, competitions, and special activities. The School also fosters each student to become a compassionate and productive member of society through community service.
Upper School students receive the finest guidance through the college admission process with one-on-one attention. On average, TMS students score higher on their SAT, ACT, and AP exams than others across Nevada and the country. Since the first graduating class in 1991, 100% of Meadows graduates have been accepted to four-year colleges and universities.
